    Discovery 2 TD5 2003, broken exhaust

    Hi Everyone,
    I am after some fresh advice please on the way forward with my current predicament (please see photo).
    The car has had an ECU remap. It is a touring car and will never be a competition truck...

    Yes that's broken you need a new one.

    Thanks. Is it worthwhile replacing it with a straight-through type?

    I would replace with straight thru. There not that much noisier.

    The wreckers will have one off a earlier model that didnt have the catalyc converter , Lots cheaper , They dont normaly break

    thanks I will try that as well. any road worthy issues with not having the catalytic converter?

    Could be if ya RW bloke was rover savy but i doubt it So dont stress
