For one purpose, I ran the cable under the carpet up the wheel arch and out the hole in the carpet for the hold down ring; in a second I continued the cable under the carpet into/under the rear panier boxes.
Yep I did this last month. Ran two 6mm wires to the back for the fridge. I picked the power up from the B+ in the fuse box and put an inline fuse in there also. Took an hour or two

If I were you I would ( and I did) put in a 4 AWG wire in case you want to put more stuff in later.

I also have a 300watt inverter run through an anderson plug , and my compressor which connects to the same plug. Reason for compressor to rear is the camper trailer tyres.

Obviously with a 4 AWG , you cannot tap from the fuse box. I have reversed my batteries and the accessory battery is in the first position.

Jaycar do very good maxi blade fuses in clear covers and I have fitted one to the rear of my under bonnet fuse box.
I have run my cable along the RH chassis rail completely covered with split tube.
