    REAR DOOR HINGE SLIDE MOD

    Hi,

Looking at putting in a set of draws and fridge slide to the rear of the disco, only prob;em is that the rear door wont open so the draws wont hit the door, hoping that I can make it go beyond 90 degs to enable the draw to come out fully.
Is there anything on the market to alter the door setup?? Or what to you blokes do??

    Cheers

Assuming you have the little container for toolbox etc near the bottom of the hinged end, some remove and replace the inside door cover with a flat version - and a good time to fit a flat when up drop down shelf for making a cuppa etc.

Yeah I know what you mean about the shelfetc, but it still doesnt allow the door to open to at least 90 Deg and beyond so the draw wont hit it.

Maybe there is something wrong with your door. Mine at least goes to 90 deg. As said I had to remove one of the bottom pockets so it would clear as the draw comes out.
    Cheers, David.

Remove the circlip from the door stay and lift it up to remove it from the pivot pin.

The door will open right up to about 110 degrees.

Just be wary it door doesn't swing around and break the brake light lens.

    Regards
    Andrew

P.s. Really need a retractable door stay, that's lockable. Might be easy to make.
