    Coding a key to a Disco 2a TD5

I purchased a Disco 2a TD5 a couple of months ago with lots of good bits and I really like it.
The only problem so far is that it only had the one key fob and I am paranoid about losing it or it becoming unuseable.
I approached a local locksmith here in Devonport Tasmania to source a spare and he acquired one from the UK and cut it for me but he is unable to code it to my vehicle with the equipment he has available.
It only has the six digit alpha numeric code taped to the circuit board and from researching this site I understand that it can be coded to the vehicle using a Nanocom.
I was wondering if anyone near Devonport has a Nanocom available and if they would be willing to have a go at coding my key.
    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
    Welcome to the site.
This link shows where members, willing to help other members with this sort of thing, are located. Looks like there are a couple of guys near Launceston. You could try sending them a PM.

Thanks Biggin I will do that, even thinking about buying a Nanocom myself.

Is it time to update the map of owners with diagnostic equipment?

Last time I looked it was last updated in 2015.

I have advised that I have one but it is not on the list.
Anyone going to put up their hand to take on the task?

    Regards

    Mike
