    sick car

Td5 Disco has a noisy fuel pump and so far these are the items replaced - fuel filter with head, fuel lines, injector seals (copper and rubber),put in three pumps. System will not go into purge mode and pump as said has a high pitch though not until stationary. There appears to be plenty of fuel pressure coming out of fuel cooler but it hasn't been tested with a gauge. No lights in the dash during driving and all clear after starting. Today with a full tank and still road testing, it stalled while coasted down a hill and had difficulty starting. Prior to the stall there had been moments of no throttle response. After waiting a few minutes I could start and drove home as if nothing was wrong .Does anyone have the gear to clear faults and find out what may still be up the creek? The usual landy mechs are unavailable till early May. A trip is planned for the Anzac weekend.

Check out this thread it sounds like a similar issue.

    TD5 giving me the squirts

PS I just bought some washers and o-rings from e-bay just to put in the box incase.

    $15 well spent I think..

    Cheers hope it helps.
