Hi Vlad, the part number you show is for the 2003 on, D2 it is Lucas??.
The early D2 like my 2001 model uses the Bosch ERR6413.( easy to determine as it has Land Rover and BOSCH written on top of the plastic rear cover
I had my alt light come on 2year ago and found it was the brushes were jammed in their holders from the powder of warn brushes. Cleaned them and stretched the spring a bit and still going strong

Just had both batt terminals replaced, the Auto lecky COULD NOT find replacement parts to suit a V8 alternator,, just a new one at some outrageous cost.

so,,

has ANY ONE repaired a 2004 V8 alternator?

No but I've got a used one in working condition off a 2002 V8 if you need one to keep you going...

me neither,But will these fit.

I got one from Will Tillery in the US (Roverparts - Discoweb) and it was, landed, under half for a genuine LR Bosch. Having said that I emailed him recently chasing a Crank Position Sensor and he didnt get back to me...maybe its not worth the effort to deliver to Aust.
