Checked the oil feeds to the turbo, and they are dry. Oil is fairly well located to the one spot, that is really hard to find exactly. The turbo and surrounding areas are fairly dry too.
Will look into the return line gasket tomorrow. Removed all the filters today and checked all the areas while it was off, seemed ok.
I'm thinking the gasket where the oil filter housing meets the block could have failed. There was no leak before I changed the water pump, oil and filters so surely must be related... But for what I can read about disco's prob not hahaha
I can't really drive it very far the way it is, so may need to hit up a mechanic but would like to exhaust all other options first though
Cheers for the help guys

The old seal from the oil filter isn't still in place? Have heard that happen before, new filter does not sit right causing leaks.

 Probably the housing gasket..

...if it's leaking below the filter line. Part number is ERR7220. Get an Elring branded one, and use a good quality sealant with it to ensure seal integrity. Just a bit of a fiddle. But I read also that it wasn't leaking before - points to whatever you did.
HTH
