You can add resistors but to me that sort of defeats the purpose.

I used to think the same thing. But on trucks and trailers it was worth it. They used to constantly break and the filaments would vibrate to pieces. On a disco probably not really worth the effort, but I'd consider it for the right price. The fact is almost every LED light replacement is way over priced. They are cheap to make.

They would also need to look much better then the ones on the link. They would need to look more like original replacements.

Yes, agree they need to look "original". Looks like something taken off a civic lol
I really like the look of the VE Commodore rear LED's I have seen around, they almost look factory.

D2 and the Classic Range Rover are IMHO some of the most stylish cars ever made but I'm biased
Not often I agree with Eevo
Not a fan of the lights.
Grimace on here runs the boltonbits front and rear lights on his RRC and they look quite good but it's just not D2 style.
Not unless you want to go full chav with one of those 4 light cluster bonnet mounts and a bunch of other crap

Has anyone found a good LED replacement for the parking bulbs - the little 5w filament globes that go 2 per side in the D2 top lights?

    Cheers

I know a guy in Sweden replaced a lot of globes with leds, ill have a look at his thread for you :-)
Interesting, he had to go back to halogen in the front as the leds didn't heat up enough to melt the snow and ice on the lights

I bought some 5 led (5050 or 5630 led) t10 warm whites from fleabay as replacements for the bulbs in the cars I look after. Bright for parking lights. Have used same design in cool white for rear number plate lights.
Warm white look similar to incandescent. If you want brighter you can get 9 led in same config.
