Just double check the maximum current you can put through the studs that you're bolted to.
Normally they have a lower rating as they are designed for accessory wiring, not the main starter/alternator wiring.
The battery in my Disco has been showing signs of dying lately.
The old battery is a SCA N70ZZ 4WD/Marine Battery, 660CCA on the top sticker and 560CCA on the main sticker? Is about 3 years old and came in the Disco.
I rang our battery supplier and asked about the recommended battery on their webpage. He advised that it is one huge & expensive battery. After asking a few questions he suggested what we had in the store room. MFM70 Sea Master Gold, 720 CCA and built tough with better reserve power.
So I grabbed one (paid for it of course) and grabbed some battery clamps and terminals. Well this one starts no problems and no dash lights coming back on while cranking.
It has the bonus of post and stud connections so I spread the load.
Also found it's a great shed to work on the car in.. :-)

I wouldn't worry too much .
We don't live in Finland so you never need the CCA.

Should have got the 1000CCA Cat battery. Someone else commented it was like a cattle prod to a grass hopper starting the TD5.
I can confirm it is.
The best thing is how it powers my winch.
Happy Days
The Cat is a bit expensive. I thought there was only 2 models one 1000cc and the other 750cc (or something) the 750cc was some sort of hi breed.
Mine was $240 in Darwin and a mate bought one in Orange NSW for the same price.
I know batteries don't fail linear but when mine is half stuffed it'll still be cranking 500cc.
Happy Days.
