Or, can you ask Penrith or distributor

Hi,
My D2 V8 has Penrite 5 year Pink in it. I can no longer find it for sale. Penrite now has an 8 year Red coolant.
What would happen if I topped up my Pink with the Red?
I only need a top-up and do not want to drain and flush my system if I can avoid it.![]()

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Clancy's gone to Queensland Rovering, and we don't know where he are
If they are both OAT's it won't be an issue, but double check with Penrite.
The colour is only a dye anyway.
I use a Cummins/Fleetguard HOAT which Cummins claim is compatible with anything !
Cummins changed the dye at one point (from purple to red) and renamed it, but it was exactly the same stuff I'd been using.
All I can find from Penrite is that the red replaces the pink. I cannot find out about them being compatible.![]()
