Thread: TD5 speedo works infrequently

    After this I would try a different SLABS computer in place of it
    I'd check the road speed reading reported in Td5 ECU instrument mode before touching the wiring.
    If that is ok then SLABS, wheel sensors are fine....

    No speedo correction fitted (yet).
    i do need one with my tyres 265/75's

    headign back to Katherine tomorrow will check road speed on Nanacom on the way Down.

    my understanding is it will be out anyway because of the tyre size.

    I find with the Nanacom the speed is correct the speedo not and i run the same size tyres

    Interested in which speedo correction unit you're going with.

    Can't find where to get a truspeed as have heard they work well with d2's

    I have a truspeed. Bought the last one 4x4 intellagance had in stock before they shut down.

    Interstingly it had super lift markings on it. I purchased another one from super lift for my Kia Sportage (which I didn't endd up needing as a R&P change fixed the speedo reading) from America and it was the same model.

    The Hunter DI Spares C6100-4 work with a D2, several people here including me use one. Info here Fitted a C6100-4 speedo correction unit
