ABS-TC and Hill Descent Warning lights

    Hi all,

2 days after a short run on a dirt road towing a trailer i have a collection of warning lights.
ABS-TC and Hill Descent have all illuminated.

My initial assessment is that there must be a plug coming lose or disconnected and the problem is electrical (rather than something mechanical occurring to 3 systems at once)

Before I go tearing things apart and spending hours on my back I thought I'd consult the collective brains trust on the best starting point.

Yes, you have a visit from the 3 Amigos.

As mentioned, there are a number of possibilities. There are plenty of threads here regarding those friendly chaps, now is a good time to introduce yourself and make friends with them, as they're sure to pay you another visit from time to time. . Maybe run a search or 2 and do some reading first - might give you some ideas, but sing out if you get stuck, someone here will point you in the right direction.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Your not the first and will not be the last for a visit from the 3 amigos.

    Some reading...

As has been suggested get the fault read before replacing/pulling things apart.
One of the easier things to check is the earth bolts behind the passenger headlamp.
I've had 20% success rate from tight them without reading codes.
    Cheers, Kyle

    Redesp,
Outback 1 is all over it. Best find out what you can before you rip into it. I found one of the rear sensor connections was a bit duff. Took me three weeks of rooting around however I got it. Knowing where to start is a huge benefit, hit miss is exactly that. You will find "?ption B" in the good oil, you could well not have to go that far.
Good luck. there are some one piece genuine WABCO ABS full length sensors on a UK site depending on where you are at worth considering.

    Cheers Marty
