For me bit of an odd problem, Jezza won't start

    Hi There,
Brake pedal has been feeling a bit dodgy for a while so after getting the British Atlantic videos I power bled the system this morning.

Brakes now the best they have ever been, so impressed. However now since bleeding the brakes if I leave the vehicle until after the security system kicks in won't start, get a solid red security light on the dash when I turn the key. Press the unlock button on the key fob and everything is back to normal.

Lock the vehicle up, unlock climb in starts perfectly. Unlock, ;eave fr maybe twenty seconds ish and turn the key nothing............. I have pressed that black button on the fire wall didn't make a blind bit of difference.

Any ideas, something simple no doubt............ Any assistance rendered thanks in anticipation.

    Check Nanocom sercurity settings.

I think there is an 'imobolise after' setting.

    Hi Kelvo,
I have a Faultmate MSV 2 from Blackbox and not a Nanocom. Based on what you told me I went searching trough all the functionality I could not find anything that looked like what you mentioned at this time. Car still works fine just a bit of a PITA.

I can't see what I touched, on the ABS page there isn't anything to do with security.

Ah well............I've disconnected the battery for twenty minutes now as well hoping a hard reset might help, it didn't.

    Cheers Marty.

    Fixed.

    Hi There,
OK, all fixed. Found number 16 fuse blown, went to turn the radio on and also the interior lights, all no go. Searched the fuses and found one blown. Not sure how that happened, just did..........

Unusual fault with the immobiliser though, never had that before. Every day is a school day............
    Cheers Marty.

    Glad you sorted it.

Managed to fi d the bit of info I semi-remembered. It involves the Pasive Immobilisation function, but there are only two option Enable or Disable.

Page from the Nanocom BCU section attached.
