What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

Bought from Gumtree:

Hand winch & 20m cable
Snatch block
Snatch strap
Tree trunk protector
2 x 4.5t d shackles

All for $100! I'm wrapped

I took it to the shops, got back in and the 3 amigoes came on, haven't had them for years since I replaced shuttle valve, did option be and replaced a sensor later. Drove home and put her into purgatory for a while :bat:
I wonder why they decided to comne back. Haven't time top look at the moment so she'll sit in the corner until she behaves

If you didn't do the Shuttle Valve Orings they will be leaking down onto the SVS

ticked over 200,000 on my way to buy some parts from some guy on gumtree (who described it all as D2)

I bought a set of polyair inner coil airbags for the rear.

$250 for the kit, saved 125 from new.

with that i also got for free:

4 boge shocks
full set of brake pads front and rear
hand brake shoes
oil filter
fuel filter
air filter
trans filter and gasket

Everything is brand new. Unfortunately they are all for a D1 so no good to me. But I figure off to gumtree they will go and it might work out that I got my airbags a whole lot cheaper.

The poly air bags are the same for D1 & d2 on a 2" lift, which was all I was after, the other stuff was just a bonus that I thought I would onsell.

You lost me, what shuttle valve O rings? The new shuttle valves come all assembled

Just got home and heard a grinding noise pulled in garage and no won't start
Tries to turn over but won't fire
Starter motor?

Also electrical burn smell

What engine? If it's a td5 maybe one of your belt tensioners have seized . When mine seized it stopped the motor running[emoji45].

Yer sorry td5
All belts were running I thought when pulled in garage no noise
Noise only started 50m from home and was intermittent
Turn the key and wants to crank but it's like the battery is dying
