Now you can burn rubber and overtake those nasty grey nomads driving LC and towing their big caravans with ease:banana::thumbsup:

Did a fluid and filter change on my TD5 4HP22EH after about 30KK at 189KK.
Pig of a job as you always get fluid everywhere, especially after you take off the sump as it drips from the whole bottom of the trans.
Anyway no lumps in the sump which is good and just slurry on the magnet.
PITA to fill then start up and run through the gears a few times then top up until it runs out.
TIPS? clean off the sump gasket mating surface and clean and lubricate the bolts and clamps. Don't overtighten them or you will break them as per a post recently. I use a 1/4 inch socket to be sure and a spot of superglue to hold each side of the gasket onto the sump flange. You have to hold up the sump with one hand and start the bolts with the other. You need Torx AFAIR a 50, 30 and 25 . One could ask why not the same size for all the bolts. The Sump is held on by 10MM bolts.
I jacked up the RH front corner of the car as I was filling but it didn't seem to make much difference as it still took almost 3 plunger thingos to top up while running, as well as completely coat my arm.
I use Castrol Transmax Z as it is recommended by ZF for Heavy duty use but Exey ( although not by D4 standards LOL) .
