Did a bit of research and will get me a new coated manifold APT?Couldn't find one on his wed page?
Or if I do existing can machine at work and will try and find a coating place locally, anyone know of one in Newcastle?
Also question about the end stubs are they to be tapped out and put new 10mm studs in?
There is a good coating place in Wyong. He did my manifold .

i have an APT ceramic coated one sitting on the shelf, just got to install it.
was great service, about 2 weeks to perth. i got Ben to clearance the 1 & 5 cylinder holes to M10.
I bought a set of wurth studs and copper nuts off that guy from ebay in the uk. They were a bit slow it took about 3+ weeks to arrive though.

If your studs are firm, and not helicoiled like mine were, just drill the holes on the manifold to 10mm before getting it coated. Leave the ones in the middle of the manifold 8MM. Mine had obviously been pulled out before, helicoiled front and rear. So, in my case the stud holes have been enlarged and M10 used. Not sure, but I doubt standard helis can handle the heat.
I understand from someone that I asked that the water jackets are fairly close, so care is needed.
Any hot rodding mobs up there? They use ceramic coatings heaps, so find a rodder, you'll find a coater.
These guys are good: Home - HPC HPC, but are in Vic, of course.
My D2 Td5 was driven to Shepparton by the better half yesterday for a course. Stopped on the way to shop and managed to snap the key off in the ignition. Abandoned in Riverside Plaza the poor old girl had to be rescued by me with the three kids (under 5!).
Was an adventure. Fortunately it was a 10 second fix with a set of needle nose pliers. Love a 3 hour car trip with 3 little kids for something silly! Specially as they all get car sick.
Managed to stop enough so they didn't chuck. Bonus!
Putting the middle kid to bed later that day and he said "Dad, that was the best day ever!" I thought, yep, you'll be able to own a Landy one day son 😂
