Received my Nanocom today.
Took a while due to the roads being closed & no mail for a few weeks.
Now the dumb question,
How does the metal cover come off?
SWMBO has threatened me with all sorts horrible things if I damage, loose or generally bugger it, so, as I'm frightened of SWMBO, I am frightened of damaging it getting the cover off if I force something.
I know I should probably just be using a bit more force but really don't want to damage it.

Yeah, you just use more force.
Won't damage anything.
Same difficulty when removing the cover off my brother's too.
It's just clipped really tightly.
Just pry the one side, don't try to lift it off by unclipping it off both sides at the same time .. lift just the one side of where it's clipped onto the nanocom body.
Arthur.
All these discos are giving me a heart attack!

Ah, new ones must come with a mount. I bought mine 5 years ago and it didn't come with a mount.
Got the mongrel thing off, per AK83.
It took quite a bit of force.
For those with older units,
This one comes with a metal cover over the screen which clips/wedges to the Nanocom.
It is on very tightly.
I don't think it I a mounting bracket though I think it could be modified for that use.
