Absolutely no issues on my five minute, bitumen commute to work, Rick. I noticed today, there are still mould tits on the tread. You could come to Moore, Australia Day Long weekend, with all the classy folk, and we'll find out together.
Ian, how are you liking the new rubber?

The tyre pliers work well on steel rims and regular alloys. The Disco rims have a wide bead well (thats what I call it) to prevent the tyre being pushed in and off the bead, deflating the tyre. It took me about 30 mins of working around the tyre to remove it from the "well" This tendds to chew up the alloy as well, so another 30 mins sanding out the ridges.
