Replaced the ABS shuttle valve unit. No more amigos.
Gave him a wash yesterday.
Then this afternoon attempted to have a look for the oil leak which seemed to be getting worse.... I replace the rocket gasket a few months back thinking it was coming from the rear of that.... but still a bit of oil
On the driveway/ road.... recently occasional wig of diesel.... oil dripping from gearbox and bell housing was clear diesel looking..... oh dear ... confirmed! Fuel pressure regulator is leaking... has been down previously years ago by original owner.... so do I tackle this myself.....reading the good oil it seems straight forward....
Replaced the ABS shuttle valve unit. No more amigos.

Installed a second battery in my '01. Planning on wiring it to the rear 12v outlet for a fridge and also installed a manually switched starter relay so that I can override the m-acr to jump start the engine if needed.
Dropped my gearbox out of my d2a and will put in an new LOF extreme spec clutch with Ashcroft r380 and transfer case with an Ashcroft ATB
Will be an big couple of months![]()
The largest I can find is PZ4.
Any way, new rego plates. Front and rear.

Replaced FPR after grunting and groaning. Mates second hands were invaluable.... then a final just check we haven’t dropped anything in the fan belt..... mate says ‘What’s this....?’ Air con clutch plate was on the fan belt....missing the bolt...
Anyway fpr works and now I need a new air con clutch bolt.
Wife said the air con didn’t work last night....
Anyone know the size by chance?
I have THESE (ebay link) fitted to my D1.
Work really well. And you can get them cheaper than advertised in that ad.
I have a spare pair for the brothers D2, but he came one day and stole it(the D2) back from me .. so he ain't getting them now!
But if you want that type for the front two terminals on that D2 dual battery setup, they may not fit under the bonnet(checked and look OK, but not fitted).
Rear two terminals have no worries for clearance.
Arthur.
All these discos are giving me a heart attack!
