What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

I’ve just given my manifold a once over. It was last done around 180,000 km and ~ 12 years ago.

No broken studs at all - was very surprised. Had 2 nuts on each normal size stud.

Manifold webs had 2 large ish holes drilled into them, but most webbing still there.

Was warped by around 1 to 1.5 mm, so had it mach8ned flat.

So I just used new standard studs and single nuts, and will see how we go!

Got a quote on the new Alive turbo vgt, it's a reasonable $6400 installed by a alive dealer

I Always get generic blades and cut them to size after I have fitted them regardless of what "Breed" of vehicle [thumbsupbig]
