I just get ?The site can't be reached ? messages. Three different browsers on three different devices. Down for everyone says that the site is up and tapatalk is clearly working.
It will give me another reason to tear my hair out once I get the FPR sorted, with the car immobilised and no parts. Sigh. I hope Aldi O rings fit and resist diesel.

New O ring from my Aldi set, spray Hylomar on the gasket, and leak gone. How long for remains to be seen, but at least I can drive it to get parts if i need them.

Job that should have taken an hour tops took two afternoons due to rain, and only having one usable arm... Still, car is back to instant starts, so I guess it's been letting air in for a while.

So I added a 12v camping led light bar just under the lip of my bonnet. Runs off a fused relay via the grounded alarm switch when the bonnet is open.

Then on Monday just gone, I swapped my front brake pads and rotors (dba slotted and repro ceramic)
Did the 380,000 service on the White one, both oil filters, a new Dayco fan belt and some general tidy ups.
Spent a bit of time making the SRS lights go away and fixing the gaps in the HVAC unit behind the centre dash, so now the air flow is strong enough to blow a candle out....
The waste gate modulator wasn't working, managed to find another one off the doner and now I don't get the over boosting issues I had before. Replaced the crank signal and the oil control valve (on the inlet pipe) I had to weld the hard line from the oil cooler water line just after the reducer hose as the other end (under the fuel cooler) had a rubber cap that was cracked and ready to start leaking.
I also changed the low beams for some projector LED's they work very well but I still need to get the adjustment right as the cut off is so harsh, too low and can't see anything, too high and I'm blinding everyone, currently they are a touch low but not too bad, will need to sort this out before Wednesday when I drive 320km to the airport, leaving home at 1am for work.
When I install Discorevy's auto and low stall convertor I'll tackle some of the oil leaks around the motor (sump gasket, front and rear seals) and install an upgraded turbo core. But this is for the Christmas break so hopefully no issues between now and then.
cheers
