SubscriberI drove all the way to Albany from Margaret River with 2 seals on the new fuel filter, not a good idea for fuel economy!
Yesterday I ran out of fuel as a result of a dodgy gauge.
Due to said gauge, I had it trucked home and went through the process of starting it. Bled it, held my foot flat to the floor and cranked it for a while until it caught and roared into life with much smoke.
Then went and snatched out the in laws Toyota

SubscriberWastegate adjustment screw unscrewed itself as I had put copperslip on it to make easier to adjust. Initially thought it was my "Heath Robinson" wire fix for missing circlip so very happy not much dismantling.
Ended up no boost so now back to 18.5lbs or so.
Amazing that the heat shield was about 40c and easy to touch after about 2 hours from showing 650C , with the turbo blanket underneath.
Regards Philip A
Done option B no lights changed oil plus filters who ever put screw on filter where it is is an evil person car started no problems alls good .
Hi There,
Installed my LT230 transfer case sump extension in conjunction with some Toyota black sealent, transfer case is now leak freeeeeeee. Oh what a feeling....... Sorry just had to
Cheers Marty
Hey mate why the need for a sump extension? Cheers
More oil + cooling fins = lower temps = happier transfer case.
In theory anyway, but I reckon they're a good idea.

They also make excellent jacking platforms for transfer case removal/refitting.
