It’s so cheap it’s hardly worth the hassle.

Yeah, I guess this part is pretty accurate .. sometimes.

I did my D1 a few months ago(all 4) and one end on the drag link and one end on the track rod were absolute pains to remove!

With bros D2 tho, I'd known that his track rod was bent for a while now, so I took the time to remove the good one on my wreck and change his tie rod ends.
I had the track rod sitting in my back yard for ages .. worst part was removing all the built up grease/oil(leaking motor).

So had it all ready to go for his car .. etc.
Then got the call, that he got the parts I told him to order, but the tie rods are fixed to the bars etc, etc.
I never took the time to inspect the track rod I had sitting in my yard to see that the one end was fixed, just assumed that they were all individual bits as per the 'old days'.

Learn something new every day I guess!
    Arthur.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!

Only a V8 would go up like that... they usually emit the steam first....

    Hope no one was injured.

Looks to be from inside, maybe the fuse box under the dash.
