Come on, Ian. NSW have the tightest rules for indicating in the country. At least, for trucks they do.

Gee, I've always trusted and relied on you, Mario, but you are letting the forum down here. Blinker fluid only works on LHD vehicles. In Aus you need flasher fluid. It's much harder to find, but it's all that works on RHD vehicles. You need to lift your game here.

maybe someone has a donor pump on the forum that's stuffed and you can swap your internals into their frame

Possibly. I reckon my fix may work though. I'm going out to try it shortly.

There's a trick to it, what ever you do don't stand on the top like one of my customers did and he broke the pipe fittings on top and had to buy another pump.
Not sure if the trick is to fit the seal to the tank top and fit the pump, or to fit the seal to the pump and fit it to tank. Sorry my memory is not good at present.

But due to recent floods their headlights might need this, surely they use headlights?

I serviced the D2 today using an Allmakes kit.
The bloody filter is too long and stops the filter tool fitting between the bottom of the filter and the turbo drain, so I chucked away the other one I had.
    A Mann filter fits Ok.

In don't know what I will do when it's time to change the filter.
I must say the Mann filter was very heavy when I changed it after about 15 Kk so I reckon you should change them every oil change IMHO. I think it was soot that made it heavy as it was still heavy after draining for a while.

Anyway all done now including ujs and inspection.
    Regards Philip A
