The first one seemed alright until I had done the third one, you do get better at it, hence returning to the first pipe. Should mention that I purchased the Titanium wrap off Amazon and thought they had ripped me off. Had the same number but nothing else. Got in contact with the company and they showed me the wrap they send to Amazon which was the same as received. This is the one that does not have to be wet to apply, but it does unravel quickly. It does seem a shame to wrap the pipes, they are gorgeous and were a wonderful piece of art in the lounge room until this week.
So the next stage of the EWP install was to remove the impellor, 10 minutes with a dremel and off (no way it was going to come off elsewise I can assure you), cleaning and readying it for install. Frustration not being able to go the shop and look for a suitable pipe for the EWP to the engine.

In preparation for making a shroud for the Davies Craig 16" fan (the BIL has built these before and has a great setup with his 80 series with a 6.2 V8), removed the return pipe from below the radiator for a bit of room.

He has a ford twin fan available if needed but we decided to try the DC first and then see if we have to, going the twin fan way.
Have to wait till Monday to get the front end parts -chain guide etc.
