You probably know this, but it's important to connect the lead to the Nano and then to the car. Easy to short it otherwise... just a thought.

Finally on last friday Bogeyman got an accessory I have been scouring for a deal on a few years now..
    A rooftoptent.

It's a second hand ARB Flinders with a brand new canvas.

And it only cost less than half a new Flinders costs

It just might be, that this is the exact same tent that I had rented in 2022 when we went on our honeymoon trip in Lapland...

Fitted the Golden Rovers centre console plate. It fixes the falling through window controls problem that has been bugging me for quite a while now.

Discovery 1 & 2 Center Console Switch Plate
    – Golden Rovers

It was a reasonably quick and easy fit. I reinstalled the rubber mat. I wanted to reinstall the window switch surround plate, but ended up spacing the window switches down so they don't protrude as much. This presents a lot better in the flesh, but I might space them even further down than what they are, or bring them back up and fit the standard surround plate again so that switches aren't getting pressed accidentally.

It might be time for new handbrake and transfer case lever gaiters.

    Very nice.
This will solve my Frankenstein auto center console with a manual transmission and the broken switch surround.
Is it worth going for the heated seat option? looks like a good spot for locker switches?

Caught it in a nic of time. Only a few threads left..
Kind of crazy these things only rely on a few bits of old shoelace for strength.

Oh wow, I'd never thought of using the heated seat holes for the locker switches. Mine are in the little panel above the mirror near the light. The 3 switches just fit and the panel is easy to remove and replace if needed.

Actually, probably a much better spot for them - they would be too easy to accidently press in the center console.

I've never seen the heated seat switch on that panel before. Mine aren't mounted there.

the whole idea of heated seats is weird and disturbing.
