behaved mostly as it was advertised too.
Fitted up rear door ladder, also fitted a D1 wiper arm which fixed the issue of the old wiper not contacting properly.
Also gotta get some quotes on getting new ball joints fitted.

I've ordered one of these, FQP101090, an eye watering $27.00. I'll make a copy out of 3.5 mm rod, just in case I lose this part again.

Supporterit got muddy!(and I really hate mud! ... avoid if I can)
Bro in law is coming up to my new place. Following GPS advice, it send him along a dry weather 'road'. He's in his Merc van(FWD), he gets bogged pretty much immediately where the slop really started 2klms or so onto the road.
It's a short cut, for sure, saves about 5klms or so, but didn't save him any time this time. Quickly jump in ICY(white TD5) and go fetch him.
The 3 major issues at play here: TD5 is plastered with gloopy sticky mud now, each boot weigh 5 kg more, and it's 10pm and about 3°C.
Otherwise, still not much else happening with D2(not anything else) at the moment. Still settling into gorgeous(but cold) regional Vic.

Did it the other day. When I turned the key the underdash fan stopped, the dash lights dimmed, did not turn over. Tried a few times, took out of Park and back to Park and she started fine. Then no probs for a few days but now same thing. This time no start or turn over after trying everything. Charged the battery in case it was low, was not.
Could it be the switch that stops you starting in anything other than P and N?
Any hints how to get to it to test please?
Thanks!
Pete

Check that your battery terminals are tight and the earths have good contact. The original terminals are junk and should be replaced by proper terminals .

Thanks Philip. I am confident that is not the problem but will double check.
