Oops mine is a 2003 so has the SRD000150. The 2004 model had the SRD500070 (I think)
I THINK the SRD000150 was 4wd lock lever enabled, and the SRD500070 had looser fault reporting.

But.. My memory is pretty sketchy these days.

And they don't always have the one that the VIN suggests they should.

Never a truer word...... Currently having a "debate" on a FIAT page. People tell me that their car has duch and such an engine, therefore it must be factory... on a nearly 60 yo car! Who knows what's happened to it.. But, mine's low mileage so the engine must be original.... Yeah, right. 60s level speedos were, of course, tamper proof...

Meanwhile, back to D2s. Nothing has happened to mine. It's sits sullenly and reproachfully, while I go mad unravelling the bloody rats the PO of my OKA called wiring, behind the instruments etc. Found a real rats nest while I was at it. At least the occupant was not to blame for any wiring issues, just ate most of the foam insulation off the heater. But that doesn't work anyway... Just like a big Defender, really.

Engine is coming out of the D2 when I gat the time and strength, so not tomorrow then.

Just a few. The fuel shut off wire was plugged into a warning light socket. Fell out once, that caused some panicked head scratching. That second pic? They're all live, under a glove box thing with no box. No cover over it at all. Bodywork ( if you can call it that ) all around. That is NOT how I want to find my missing ten mill spanner. It's all connected directly to the cars main 80 amp fusible link, which is one way of turning everything off, I guess.
I really needed a new challenge at my time in life. Bloody glad the trip to the corner country has been postponed.
