SLS 2" lift - recalibration insted of spacers?

    Hi guys,

I've been looking at lift kits, pretty much all include spacers for the rear suspension height sensors.

Can I just recalibrate the sensors instead with Nanocom? Seems a lot easier.

    Cheers

You can but it's not healthy for the bags cos they will be all the time at higher pressure from the beginning and as the normal level input will be higher the ORM/extended limit will increase as well and if it goes automatically to extended mode while off roading there's a risk to blow the bags cos they are not built to support extra 2" extension for prolonged time that's why it goes automatically out of ORM at 30km/h...better fit spacers to be on the safe side(if i didnt misunderstand and you spoke only about sensor extensions not bag spacers too)

Like Sierra said, You need spacers for the bags & extensions for the sensors. If you don't, when you extend the rear SLS in off-road mode, then add in the possible articulation, it's very likely going to end poorly.

    Thanks guys,

Explains a bit. I saw the list price of >$250. Thought that was for the sensor spacers - didn't realise the bags needed doing too.

    Cheers
