Yes, that's a Bilstein.
Ok, I've removed the spring, the shock, the shock tower and disconnected the ACE.
Everything at the front corner is good, the shock absorber is as good as the day it went in.
I reassembled the front and looked at the rear air bag.
The Hawkeye showed no faults, and it would not release air from the bag, the bag was hyper inflated.
I removed the wheel, jacked the chassis and the axle, but couldn't undo the air line in-situ.
The SLS valves opened and shut properly when activated through the Hawkeye. I was able to charge the compressor and line and release that air, suggesting a air line blockage between the compressor and the air bag.
Then all of a sudden the Hawkeye managed to deflate the rear airbag.
I took it for a drive and the same thing happened. Now I can deflate the airbag with the wheel on and the car on the ground, but the SLS system doesn't seem to be doing it. The connecting rods (height sensors) all look normal.
I'm trying to sort out my sister's funeral, but need this car for running people around. Any hints toward a quick resolution would be welcome.
Thanks in advance, Michael
