Discovery 2 - Front and Rear SLS Possibility?

    Hi All

Having been bitten by the Disco bug (pretty late in the piece, but better late than never?!) I'm the proud owner of a 2001 TD5, which came with SLS - the previous owner had shelled out on new compressor and air bags when they gave up the ghost so it all works really well. I love the fact that I get a 2" lift at the rear at the press of a button, but such a shame it's only on the rear of the vehicle.

Having previously owned a lifted and locked 2010 Patrol, the lift was great but would have been good to drop it back down when on the hard stuff to improve road manners a bit.

So...I was wondering if anyone had ever contemplated (or attempted) adding front airbags onto the disco 2 (am I right in saying that some of the more recent Discos have this functionality?). I've been trawling the forums for a while but can't seem to find anyone who might have already done this?

Would welcome anyone's thoughts on this.

Anything is possible. But with the standard front setup having the shock run up the middle of the coil it makes some decent mods required.

    Thanks for the replies

Thanks everyone for your input - sounds like I might be putting this into the 'too hard' basket. I was hoping it might come down to transplanting some gear from an old range rover (should've known it wouldn't be that easy!)
