    filters

    Hi all has any one used Mahle filters on there disco 2 I have found their air filters to be good but have never used their oil or fuel filters. At the moment I use land rover air and oil filters and mann and Hummel fuel filter I have found Mann and Hummel fuel filters to be very good but a bit pricy although no as expensive as land rover.

    I've been using Mahle air, fuel and spin on oil filters for the last 90-100,000KM/4 years with no known problems.

    I only use Mann-Hummel for the rotor/centrifugal oil filter.

    This is with a Td5.

    Laney the Mahle filters are very high qualiity so no probs there. The only prob with the oil Mahle filters is they are different to the Genuine and Coopers filters in the base, so if you are using a dedicated filter spanner then it will not fit.
