I have rebuilt the front of mine using the kit available on eBay - includes new bearings and electromagnetic clutch. 255k km and still going. Details in other threads.

Clint - had the air conditioner compressor installed and so far so good mate. I caught the other one early enough it seems as the air cond technician said there was no metal shavings in my system.

Your compressor was a simple plug n play in the end!

    thanks again.

Good to hear. And even with me dumping a heap of oil on the ground.

dont forget to tie up the power steering hose either.

I did tied back the power steering hose when I got home from your place that day. It was good advice. Prevention is better than cure!
