What would you change on the Disco/TD5 and why.

There have been a couple of threads on people wanting to make changes to the TD5 ie double fuel filter, different fuel cooler.
What would you change? and Why?
The full flow oil filter. Where would you put it?

I'd put a bracket on the turbo to support it. IMHO it's the reason behind snapped exhaust studs. Most other turbo diesels have a bracket to take the weight of the turbo. That's a lot of weight to hang off the exhaust manifold when you consider the effects of leverage.

for your self or how they should of built it?
for how it should of been built
    a telescopic adjustable steering colume
thicker injector tubes in the head
cdl should of been in every vehicle and selectable
    larger or dual fuel tanks
have tubes to direct the aircon drain away from the driveline
    larger Tyre's something like 31in
    sls front and rear
better quality control on oil pump drive bolt locktight

    for my self
    twin fuel filters
    dual tanks
    larger tyres
softer springs since full sls not avilable

About a 10" wheelbase increase to give some room in the 2nd row seats! This might also enable a reduction in the rear overhang which used to set up a pendulum effect sometimes when towing... (Not the sort of mod that can be done easily though ...)

Such a little thing, but it would be good!

I think a dimmer for instrument illumination would have been a sensible inclusion.
As many others have commented, it actually seems surprising that it is not provided.
Personally, I don't find the standard illumination to be too bright at night, so it doesn't bother me.
I just think not having a dimmer switch it is a strange oversight.
