    Fun and Games

It all started innocently enough with Energex(or whoever) saying they were cutting the power thursday for half a day,, no worries just dont open the fridge right? Power back up but no internet,, strange as everything was switched off at the wall... after much speaky with Telstra, they sent a NBN guy, after NBN had a separate guy hand deliver a FREE mobile phone to keep the monster in law happy(she of the Very Important Sick People group). So nbn and telstra agree its the modem and the local telstra shop actually coughed up a new one-- which leads us to Friday night when the nextdoor neighbours unsupervised young adult decided to have a party which at some stage led to someone dancing on the BSL's bonnet,, yes, I said dancing... I have the shoe prints nicely outlined by fingerprint dust... oh, and they stole my front numberplate. which destroyed the front panel it was attached too.. of course I got the "my mates wouldnt do that" reply from the very sick looking young adult at 8am saturday when I bashed on his front door. The detective that attended couldnt find any prints(except a shoe one) but assured me the local Police will ask around.
So I'm out one bonnet,, one personalised plate, one front bumper panel and the car will now be looked on as "stolen" by every law enforcement officer in QLD,,,
has Bathurst started yet? I need a beer..

Wow, that's incredibly ****, sounds like the police have thrown it in the too hard basket! At least every Police car on the planet is currently on the road between Bathurst and Windsor in Sydney as we speak. They may leave you alone for at least today.
    Cheers

Too late for this one Pete, but this is why I put cameras in at my place after a mate of the young dickhead across the road stole the plates of one of our cars. After putting the cameras up, one of them took an empty gas bottle I had sitting out the front. I went over and knocked on their door and asked for it back. After the 'Nah mate, we didn't do it' speech, I said fine, I'll take the footage to the Poliice. 'Um, I'll just go get it' he mumbled and went out the back and retuned it. They haven't even been game enough to park on my side of the street since, let alone walk over here.

They have complained that there are 3 cameras pointing at the street but soon clam up when I just ask 'Got a guilty conscience have we?'
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

I generally don't get those problems. I might get an occasional scuff mark on the Camry from a zimmer frame and there was that incident with the mobility scooter but, generally, my neighbors don't dance in the streets.
Time for you to install a surveillance system like Homey's.

Interesting bonnet decoration. Does it come in a vinyl wrap?

My neighbor is a senior police officer, so it's pretty quiet here.
