Yeah, as my D2 is a long term project, ATM it's disconnected at the pump.
The nanocom has a body outputs test for the washers/wipers in the BCU page. Is how I remember testing it, once I fitted all the connections and pumps and cleared all the blockages out when I was doing that part of the front end.
Little thread dig here. Thanks for the info on the Nanocom for checking the outputs from the BCU as I have a dead washer pump for the windscreen so this will narrow down the switch at least.

Don't search that function cos the only pump which can be activated with nanocom is the headlamp power wash, the other two pumps are not covered.
