    td5 egr cooler hose bypass help

    Can anyone indicate which hose i put a t piece in to maintain coolant flow to fuel cooler after removing oil cooler hose. , picture or rough diagram please . Have searched for days but cant find definitive photo.

    If you have a 15P engine you just fit a 19mm cap to the oil cooler outlet nipple and a 8mm(?) cap to the expansion tank nipple. Then remove all EGR cooler pipework.

    That's what I did with mine.

    Thanks 10p motor. Piping part of fuel cooler.

    I'm glad to have a 15p , did this today as the short hose at the oil cooler decided to split , supersheep had blanking caps the right size in rare spares packaging

    Looking at the cooling system on rave, for the pre UE3 models. The coolant pipe from the oil cooler goes to the radiator. Driverside near the bottom, below the fuel cooler coolant pipe.

    Just need to cap the radiator.
    Searching around found people are using a tee piece if using a later rad. Due to only one spigot

    Unfortunate if i cap the radiator spigot I lose flow to the fuel cooler. Back to the drawing board.

    You have two spigots at the bottom of the radiator? Or one?

    two spigots on new radiator but one is blanked off and the other has a restriction.
