Rocker Cover Oil Separator for Land Rover V8 Discovery Range Rover LLJ000010

I have been researching how the Thor V8 sucks up crankcase fumes without a PCV valve or flame catcher like early V8s. I have found that a Rocker Cover Oil Separator LLJ000010 fits in the pipe outlet at the top of the rocker cover. It seems that one of these is only fitted to the right hand rocker cover and not the passenger side.
I understand that air is sucked into the engine through the passenger side rocker cover via a port at the throttle end of manifold goes down through the engine and then vacuum from the manifold sucks the oily gas from the engine into the low pressure end of the manifold - with the separator taking out most of the oil in the gas returning it to the rocker cover.
Can someone confirm this is correct and that a oil separator is fitted only to the drivers side of the engine and there is nothing on the passenger side.
Thanks
Garry
