Hello Deano,

It initially had drive, it was a bit grabby reversing. When it was put into drive, it lost all drive.
The front drive shaft was recently replaced. The drive shaft on the rear has been regularly greased. The rubber coupling to the rear diff looks to be in good condition(replaced a few years back).
Locking the centre diff makes no difference.

Hate to be a doomsayer, but that sounds a bit like the A clutch pack to me. Or, maybe, the drive plate, but I'm leaning towards my first guess. I stress, it is a guess, but mine did much the same the first time it failed. For your sake, I hope I'm wrong.

I know you said diff lock engaged. Confirmed TCase not in neutral.?

The box is most likely due another “reco”

Talk to the reco mob who did the job and see what their thoughts are.
100 k after a reco is a pretty lame effort. But it depends on understanding/ interpretation of reco for some.

whilst your dooms saying, you forgot the Transmission oil pump, if it goes no drive.

It has been getting driven semi regularly. Enough to keep everything in working order I hope.

I have been having similar issues with mine the last couple of days. Will have to wait for a seconds to a minute or so till it engages into gear, and as well has a hard time shifting up, getting higher than usual revs. Just had the transmission oil flushed out and fresh added with an additive to help clean out any clogs.
