Yep I'm running them as well, rotate when service vehicle, I need to rotate on rims shortly due to a bent steering rod, no fault of tyre. As ball bag mentioned they seem to be getting noisier with age about 35 thou now, but still happy with grip.

So, did U get the Mt51s' or go with something else???

I ask as I have been looking as these latley. Currently Im running KM2's in 265/75 guise but the road noise is quite unbearable (id say 40% tread remaining)

Have heard reports of uneven tread wear on the Mt51s but these were fitted to an IFS truck, so may have some alignment issues.

Keen to hear some reports back!

I have bought the steel rims and are now waiting for my bank balance to recover before purchasing the MT51s. I have a quote for $265 each, fitted and balanced.

How often do you actually use them in the mud? The AT51’s will be quieter on road. Just sayin.
Mine were $260 each from Tyrepower.

Hmmm... your 265/75 KM2s are only 2mm smaller in diameter to the 235/85 MT51s l’m going to get. Did you have to invert the wheel carrier bracket for your KM2s to clear the rear bumper. I have a steel rear bumper and do not mind if the wheel rests on it...

I found my answer in a June 2011 topic “largest size tyre on spare wheel carrier”
I’m posting from my phone and haven’t worked out how to link to it in this post ...

Once you flip your wheel carrier your sorted for the future without having to worry about it further or any other issues. It's fairly straight forward to do and doesn't take too long.

I currently have 285/75R16 (33") tyres on the standard spare wheel carrier flipped without any rubbing/clearance issues.

I didnt want to flip the carrier as it offsets it closer to the middle of the door, and, requires a slight mod to then clear the rear window wiper.
I just made a bracket to relocate the studs about 45mm higher (for memory)

and Yes, the 235/85 and the 265/75 are essentially the same height tyre, I chose to go 265s as there seem to be more options for tyre choice.

I actually just replaced my KM2s with a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3w in the same 265/75-16 size. $185 a tyre, cant complain about that!

Got them today and stopped at a roadhouse on the way home to fit them. No rubbing, very happy.......

I’m liking my Kumho AT51’s. Quiet on road, excellent grab on dirt. They’re surprising me. 👍
