    AFT Leak

Update. Was a loose connection. Will keep an eye on it after I top up the ATF.

    Original post follows.

This is a 10 minute puddle. I just pulled it up to change the steering dampener. It us running from what I assume is an oil cooler line.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Yep, trans fluid cooler, o-rings at the box end and quicjk connects at the other end i believe - a common failure.

Might have upset the quick connect (which personally I've found to be anything but quick to take off or put on - might be the years of dirt and grot built up disrupting their smooth movement). If your lucky you can just reconnect it to the automatic transmission cooler unit.

Strange that the threaded fitting had worked it's way loose. Glad it was a free repair then though but. Make your you use good flange nut spanners or crows feet on them to avoid damaging the hex.
