Yes but you need to swap the front housing from the D2 in order to retain hi lo switch for ECU functions/maps.
It’s about a half hr job with the box out.
...But I don't. Will the LT230 from my D1 bolt up to my D2? D1 has an R380 and D2 is auto. Reason for asking is D1 has MaxiDrive low range reduction internals, which are truly awesome.

						SubscriberI just added a magnetic reed switch to the high/low gear stick beneath the gaiter and wired it back to the existing connector. It’s been working perfectly for 8 years now.
