    Water leaks

I can’t believe i spent 5000 dollars on my tdi had the rusted floor replaced the roof painted the windscreen replaced removed the mud Gaurds re sealed the seams and replaced the door seals and I still have water leaking on the floor. Is this solvable or is it just a landrover 😂

    Hi Adrian,

Can I ask: where does the water that comes in actually appear?
What I mean is, is the floor wet everywhere, on one side only, or only in the front / back.
What part of the floor had to be replaced?

    Don't give up,

When I got my tdi the car dealer replaced the screen then it rained water was pouring in over the fan for the heater, took it back they pulled the screen out and re sealed it they told that there was not enough sealant used (had breaks in sealant that caused tunnels for water to run) they put heaps more sealant on had no leaks and told me who ever needs to change the screen will have lots of trouble getting it out it was a genuine screen. May be screen not sealed properly. what about the heater matrix are you losing water or ac drain tubes could be blocked.

A good spot is inside the front doors, where the door stay goes inside the panel. There is a rubber seal around the hole and water can trickle down into it, and out onto the floor near the kick panel.

Hi everyone I’ve done some more checking tonight the water is definantly coming thru the door window seals mostly on the top back corner and trickling down I’ve tried the Brit door seal now the Clark rubber seal. It’s near impossible to not get a small indent in the corner with the Clark rubber seal. I have the door adjusted so tight I can hardly open it. Any suggestions much appreciated

If the cabin fan area is wet it is coming from the cabin vent beneath the plastic windscreen plenum.

Remove plenum (it will probably crack if it hasn't already) and shroud the vent with lead flashing, sheet metal or something of that nature.
