So you did, but I reckon a bit of elaboration as to what causes it may be helpful otherwise some may just try to tighten the backing plate to transfer case ( no harm in checking but unlikely the cause )

Yes but I can't hold every Land Rover owners hand all the time, I merely point them in a general direction ....

As they say... You can lead a owner to clean oil but you cant make them change it (thats the saying right??)

lol , you can service / repair a landy owners vehicle and they'll travel well for 10 000k......
but teach a man to do it themselves and they'll travel well............in the back of a padded van straight to the nearest institution

Settle down Dazza . I suspect Craig knows at least as much as you about our wee beasties, and you are both way up there in my estimation.

I have no doubt, for me anyway I do say what I do isnt rocket science its mostly a case of do something enough times and you get really good at it. Also maybe a somewhat twisted passion left for the Land Rover brand......

Its a weird club, and we're glad you are part of it. I don't know too many who actually maintain the beasts for a living who also post their hard earned knowledge here - good on you! (and for t'others who do likewise).

    Cheers

PS - new brakes are excellent - they look to have a real bite with the slots. Will follow up after pulling the brick down south and back in a few weeks time.
