The header tank with glass window is 183 GBP from Allisport.

Also glad to hear you're happy with your dual battery box, good news you were able to modify it to suit your SSB battery.
Curious tho. Why buy one of those over a plastic one?

Plastic ones often expand and crack, I've gone through 3 aftermarket tanks and 1 genuine tank (original).

It could be, if as many D2 owners who wanted aftermarket quality parts actually bought aftermarket quality parts

Over what sort of time period? I've got my original tank still which is now 16 years and 280,000km old...

I think you'll find that its a calculation the ECU makes based on a few parameters; Boost Pressure, RPM, Load, etc etc etc.
It would be reasonbly accurate i'd think. Although, maybe a little bit conservative for longevity and warranty purposes.

I had an ally header tank made for my D1 back in the day, due to rumors of the OEM tank cracking. I found that it helped dissipate heat a little, I made it larger than the original tank to hold a bit more coolant, and, I had some NPT bungs welded into the side of it for my low coolant level sensor.

calling it "driving" is an overstatement.
