Ah bugger, I guess sometimes it’s good for them to receive the warranty claims so that they become aware that their product is not up to the needed standard and can work to improve it.
I considered that, but Andy from Grove Auto Engineering, who does those advised:
Wouldn’t be too hard to make your own greasable setup though. You just have to drill through the watts linkage centre piece and through into the casing of bush. Then tap a suitable thread into the holes of the watts linkage centre piece and fit the grease nipple in. Personally I’d prefer not to have another maintenance item though.morning buddy, if you do mainly road miles and tow regularly I'd fit genuine greasable bushes. If you like to play or a planning overlanding I'd go for the superpro poly.
The superpro also come with a lifetime warranty.
Should I also experience the failed SuperPro I’ll try another OEM/genuine unit and add in a grease point.
I’m hoping though that it’s the angles that’s killing them and the new cranked arms will reduce, as I’ve been through a genuine unit, Floflex urethane unit and OEM unit within the last 120k km.
Simple. I had the rattle which is specific for the watts linkage then when it was removed the central bush was obviously worn while the other two intact
Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
Which of the five bushes don't last or all of them? I'd imagine that at least the two arms to chassis bushes should be fine.
I have German made Febi outters in my setup that I've just pulled apart as it was clunking for the last year or so.
I've now fitted the SuperPro bushes along with the Grove Auto Engineering Cranked Watts Linkage Arms. Will see how it goes. Popping this post in here as a reference for the time/distance if/when it fails.
Tip for any future installers. I've typically used a 10t press to install suspension bushes but found these just went sideways and jumped. Used one of this kits and was super easy and quick:

Just stick the threaded rod through, plate on each end, nuts on and wind up until the bush pops in - it turns sideways fairly early but if you keep winding it quickly corrects itself as it jumps in.
