I'm pretty sure they are farm jack points not recovery points. Same as on the front bars, as said get a hitch. I think I paid like $35 for mine and it's great [emoji106]

Farm jack points or hi lift jack points? There are two tubes that go through the bumper for that
Land Rover Discovery 2 Bumper Bar Rear Heavy Duty Steel in Black
they call them recovery points.
Soz High lift jack, the hole should fit the pin in the jack. Having a look at that photo I see what you mean about the tubes, they looked like gromits for sensors or similar.
Personally I'd still go with a hitch, 8-12t force on a snatch would rip the bar off. Alright for a light drag but a heavy snatch should be from the chassis or receiver hitch.
Cheers Jim
That would be the safest and most sensible decision in my opinion .
Why are we still trying to justifie their use really :soapbox:.
Mental note any of you guys want to use these points as a recovery point when your stuck [bighmmm]
I will not be any where around to help and leaving fast in the opposite direction :burnrubber:
To be honest legit recovery points are rated there is no rating on this bar`s recovery points .
I have this bar and have had it for years , There was no mention of a rated recovery point anywhere that i have seen = they are still not a rated recovery point :Thump:.
User be aware [wink11]
Rangieman, reading your posts is becomig so very predictable and, frankly, boring.
By now, we all know your opinion, so no need to keep giving it away. Those crappy emojis are a bit babylike too, so not really appropriate.
So if you want someone to get hurt fine just carry on and dont heed the warnings :wallbash:.
I will keep doing what i do best and as iv`e been here long enough to know how things work [wink11]
The emojis are for the humour side of things which you might need a soup ladle of by the sounds of it [tonguewink]
