    I still have an 18" as the spare, because:
    A) The AULRO tyre cover fits it like a glove.
    The size is as close to damn it, to the road wheels.
    C) I'm a slacko.
    If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

    what is the standard size? My car has 255/65r16 and I thought this was standard. My car is a 7 seater

    235/70/16 in 16 inch. Michelin XPC (no longer made) and it was a very good tyre.

    Well i got this from the owners handbook in the glove box. So i guess i do have standard 255/65 r16 but i must have an 8 inch rim being a 7 seater

    I’ve got 265x70x16LT and have had no problems at all. No rubbing, no altering the rear carrier, great off-road. I did buy a Hunter-Di Speedo correction box which fixed the 7% that my Speedo was out.
