I reckon your recent jaunt would have produced more pollution than I'm likely to make in the next year. How many did you see, in the mirrors, falling off the perch as you sashayed past?

Sashayed is a word that is massively under utilised today.

Do you have any data to support this? Like emissions before and after delete, cause of deaths? Any thing specific? Long term effects on emmisions compared a intake fouled EGR engine versus a clean intake EGR delete?

Data? If my deletion, on a car covering 10,000 km per anum is going to kill 1,000 good folk, what is the total killed?
Multiply the number of vehicles, sans EGR (by design or modification) by 1,000 by the multiple of 10,000 covered annually. It's a wonder we're not climbing over mountains of dead bodies.
Does your car have EGR fitted, Mike?

Now that is an inconvenient truth.

The truth is vehicle emissions are responsible for more deaths per year than car accidents, and diesels are the worst offenders.

It is this realisation that will see the death of the diesel - just a matter of time now.

So when are you getting rid of the the Defender Mick? EGR delete.
