    Unopenable...

Thats what I get for washing it,, ( before the rain)

Car locked as normal with blip, next day, nothing with the remote..
ok,, lets dance D2 and I stuck the key in the lock and turned------

and nothing. no "key in a lock engagement" either direction,, its like I stuck the key into a bowl of custard.

I can get the security light to react with the remote. no light to quick flashes.

    Merry Christmas Me.

Did you try to unlock twice consecutively ? cos if it's set to SPE then on the second command at least the other doors will open even if the driver's latch is fubar

Its nice we got some rain here,,
on the down side my "key in a bowl of custard" is back
    no dash security light,
    press fob,
    fob lights up,
    dash security led goes crazy,
    but nothing happens.

    IF I break a window, (rear drivers ? )
(I have replaced the rollers in the drivers door window and DONT want to disturb it...)

will the central door lock button even work?

    any ideas?

The easyest and cheapest is to remove the tailgate window cos then only a new seal will be needed to fit it back. You can try with a long sick to push the dash switch then

    open the back door?

and no the central locking button wont work if the BECM is asleep, The security module will wake it up and the BECM will wake up on an accessories on...

    as a side trick....

try hitting the inertia switch, depending on your model and settings that automatically pops the door locks.

The man said that the security LED reacts to the fob which means that the BCU is not in sleep mode... and the inertia switch has no effect whatsoever with ignition off... IMO the problem here is with the central locking only

I had an odd issue develop last night. After locking the car, at random times the headlights come on. I unlocked, opened and closed all the doors firmly but the lights still come on.
    Questions:
Does the alarm utilise the light switches on the doors?
What other causes can produce this problem?
Did you sort yours out Pedro, or has it sat, unenterable, for the last month?
